Poker Variance, Success with Jesus!

We wake up we start our days. We sit down at the table. We expect to win or there would be no need to sit down in the first place. We expect to win each hand though history proves different. This is known as poker variance. Winning poker is about application and reapplication of advantages over a period of time. In this instance, maybe we consider time left on earth, maybe we consider time left for eternity, pending on your circumstance. This moment is about sitting at the table in relation to the length of the game and we plan to win as the cards are dealt.

We bring our intelligence, experience(collective intelligence we've learned from playing and learning from all past experiences of playing and how others have played, faith (grounded on the reason of the we play is that we will win), training(ie studying the manual, living the rules, knowing the odds associated with each play), and a committment to win.

Variance can overcome achievers. But grinders, rounders understand the variance and know the best play all the time will eventually lead to an advantage. Consider 6-5 play winning 60% of the time and losing 50% of the time. So our focus is in front of us, in our hand, and we consider what is behind us, what happened the last time. We play to win the hand.

So we start the hand to win and play each moment as we we start and the cards are tossed, we play to win:

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be the name

holy, holy father-our source

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven

today, right now, it begins

Give us this day our daily bread, forgive us our sins as we forgive others trespasses

it is written, man does not live on bread alone; but on every word from the mouth of God

Forgive and be forgiven its a new day, a new moment time to move forward

Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil

Go, act now, Love God, Love one another, Follow God's precepts: Live your life like someone who tells about God's Love for us. Tell about eternity! So they won't have to die but can live as we live through Christ Jesus. Fill up the empty spaces in our churches. Now, Start
